Our Billingsgate Weekender is back!

It’s that time again, join Terry’s Cafe in celebrating London’s seafood heritage Friday 9th & Saturday 10th October with our Billingsgate Weekender.

Billingsgate is more than a fish market. It’s part of the fabric of London. A place built on early mornings, shouting traders, crates of ice and an extraordinary connection between the river, the market and the city’s kitchens.

This weekend enjoy two days of seafood, market culture, live Jazz from The Queen Of Soho Jazz, Rachel D’Arcy and a proper London celebration.

Our tables will be topped with the very best of the sea: freshly shucked oysters, native lobster, scallops, mussels, prawns, home-cured gravadlax, lobster rolls and, of course, our legendary Billingsgate Roll.

A delightful feast inspired by the markets, fishmongers and characters that have been part of Terry’s and London’s seafood story for centuries.

Not only do we have some fabulous food on offer, the drinks will be flowing too – @st.john.restaurant Crémant de Limoux 2020, @anspachhobday London Black, the soon-to-be legendary Terry’s Snakebite & Black (Aspall Cyder, 1936 Pilsner and blackcurrant), the Oyster Mary (our classic Bloody Mary topped with a freshly shucked Carlingford oyster) a selection of Cocktails and more.

As the future of London’s historic wholesale markets continues to change, our Billingsgate Weekender is a chance to raise a glass to that heritage and keep the spirit of the market alive here at Terry’s Cafe – good seafood, good company, no nonsense.

The celebrations start at 3pm each day and continue to 9pm. See you soon ✌️
